Katrina has practiced Ashtanga Yoga for over 20 years and teaches Ashtanga Yoga in the traditional Mysore style as she was taught in India. This is a beautiful sequence of postures that a weaved together using yogic breathing. Ashtanga yoga helps develop stamina, strength, flexibility and concentration. Students progress at their own pace in a safe meditative practice. Students also learn self-practice. Class is every Wednesday at 8pm
Katrina Gentle Flow is based on Hatha Yoga which is not a school of yoga in itself, but rather a style of yoga based on the Hatha Yoga Pradipika book. This style of yoga incorporates asanas (postures), relaxation, meditation and breath work. Suitable for all levels (including pregnancy) student progress at their own pace with adaptation made for each individual. Class is every Monday evening at 8pm.
